  75. I RECENTLY BUILT A 5/8 WAVE MAGNET MOUNT FROM JUNK AROUND THE HOUSE...
  76. I LEARNED A FEW THINGS ABOUT ANTENNAS & MATCHING IN THE PROCESS.

  78. JUST THOUGHTS YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHECKOUT...

  80. 1. IS THE ANTENNA THE CORRECT LENGTH WHEN EXTENDED?

  82. 2. I ASSUME THAT THERE IS SOME SORT OF IMPEDANCE MATCHING COIL OR NETWORK
  83.    INTEGRATED INTO THE ANTENNA. IS IT THERE? / REMOVABLE?

  85. 3. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF A BROKEN OR CORRODED CONNECTION BETWEEN
  86.    THE CENTER CONDUCTOR OF THE CONNECTOR AND THE NETWORK.
